Mean Gene Okerlund, born Eugene Arthur Okerlund, was a legendary American professional wrestling interviewer and announcer. He is best known for his work with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) during the 1980s and 1990s.
Okerlund began his career in the wrestling industry in the 1970s, working for the American Wrestling Association (AWA) as an announcer.
